Community Moderation Policy
Last updated: December 2025
Our Commitment
Zyro is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive community. While we cannot see message content due to end-to-end encryption, we maintain clear community standards and take action against violations where possible.
Prohibited Conduct
Users agree not to use Zyro to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Share non-consensual intimate content
- Facilitate illegal activities or violence
- Spam, phishing, or social engineering
- Distribute malware or unauthorized access tools
- Impersonate others or create fake accounts
- Violate intellectual property rights
Enforcement & Privacy
Because Zyro uses end-to-end encryption, we cannot inspect message content. Enforcement is based on:
- User reports with evidence
- Metadata analysis (spam patterns, account behavior)
- Account abuse (account creation, credential stuffing)
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy:
- Document the violation (screenshots, times, context)
- Mail us at legal@zyro.cx
- Our team will review and investigate
- We will take action according to severity
Consequences
Violations may result in:
- Warning or account suspension
- Temporary or permanent ban from Zyro
- No refund of any paid features
Privacy During Moderation
We take privacy seriously. During moderation investigations:
- We never request your recovery phrase or private key
- We never decrypted or access your messages without explicit legal process (lol we can't)
- Reports are handled confidentially
- Data access is logged and monitored (bullshit)
Appeal Process
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may appeal by contacting our support team at legal@zyro.cx with evidence. Appeals are reviewed by a separate team member.
Changes to This Policy
Zyro may update this policy at any time. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification or email.
